Bringing awareness to domestic violence through fashion!
Sarasota, Fla. – August 17, 2015 -Domestic violence is a problem that plagues our society. According to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, one in every three women will become a victim to domestic violence in her lifetime. Although historically, females are most often victimized, domestic violence can affect anyone regardless of gender, ethnicity, race, or other factors. For more than 15 years, Patchington has partnered with our local communities to bring awareness to domestic violence.
“This is the kick-off of our six week domestic violence awareness campaign,” said Michael Levich, Patchington CEO and President. “We are passionate about this cause and are excited to add this new event to our other initiatives such as our bi-annual Trade-In Event,” Levich continued.
We are proud to report that many women across Florida have joined us in aiding victims of domestic violence during Patchington’s multiple charity events. Customers can help the cause during our Party with a Purpose event by donating $10 to SPARCC (Safe Place and Rape Crisis Center). With the purchase of a $10 ticket, customers become eligible to receive 30% off their purchases during the event! This season’s event will run from September 17-19, 2015.
