CARNIVAL CRUISE LINES ANNOUNCES ‘CARNIVAL LIVE CONCERT SERIES’ BRINGING THE BEST IN LIVE MUSIC TO THE SEAS

Music fans know that you don’t go to a concert to just hear a band — you can actually feel the energy flow from all angles as they rock the house. And Carnival fans know that it isn’t just a great way to travel — cruises feature massive amounts of fun all around you… practically everywhere you look.

How about the best of both? A Carnival LIVE concert cruise is just the ticket!

During your cruise to The Bahamas, Mexico or the Caribbean, you’ll have the unique opportunity to see a band you love absolutely rock the ship in a theater venue. Seating is limited, but there isn’t a bad seat in the house. There’s even a VIP opportunity to meet the band for an autograph and photo, plus a seat in one of the front rows.

Cruising always sounds good… but it’s never sounded this good.

Choose a Carnival LIVE cruise and you’ll not only enjoy an unforgettable concert plus everything a Carnival cruise has to offer, but you’ll enjoy it all with your fellow fans — plenty of opportunity to meet, greet and talk rock, whether over dinner, a drink or just a sea view.

So grab your favorite t-shirt and get ready to get cruising!

To get your Carnival LIVE tickets, please contact me.

Tickets to the shows cost between $20 and $40 per guest (depending on the band), and VIP tickets are $100–150 per guest. As a VIP, you’ll get some of the best seats to the show, a laminated commemorative VIP pass, plus an exclusive meet-and-greet with the band… including an opportunity for a photo and autograph.

There’s no will-call line to wait in, either — tickets will be delivered to your stateroom during your cruise. Seat selections are not assigned, and seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Concerts include:  Daughtry, Kansas, LeAnnn Rimes, Martina McBride, Olivia Newton-John, REO Speedwagon, STYX, Trace Adkins, Jennifer Hudson, Gavin DeGraw, Lady Antebellum, Chicago, Foreigner, Jewel and 38 Special.

Special 14-Day Repositioning Cruise from Tampa to Baltimore on the Carnival Pride – March 2015

Prior to its Baltimore deployment, Carnival Pride will operate a 14-day repositioning cruise departing Tampa March 15 and arriving Baltimore March 29, 2015.

The special one-time voyage will feature six magnificent seaside destinations throughout the Caribbean and Central America, including George Town, Grand Cayman; Limon, Costa Rica; Colon, Panama; Aruba; Curacao; and St. Maarten, Netherlands Antilles. Each of these destinations offers gorgeous beaches, interesting historical sites and myriad dining, shopping and sightseeing opportunities. Optional excursions to the spectacular Panama Canal will be featured during the call in Colon.

Carnival Pride charms, alright — the eyes, the taste buds, and of course the fun receptors. Take in the refined design while dining, from the muted hues of the Normandie Restaurant to the Renaissance-era allure of David’s Steakhouse. Actually, you can take in tasty treats all up and down the ship, like a casual meal at Mermaid’s Grille or a short-and-sweet bite at the Piazza Café.

You’ll find room to move at Beauties Dance Club, and have a hard time sitting still at the swingin’ Ivory Piano Bar. All around you’ll discover even more ways to splash around, like an adult-only pool at Serenity, one fun-only midship pool featuring a retractable roof… and even a fun-for-all 72-foot-long Twister Waterslide. Camp Carnival, Circle “C” and Club O2 are the hotspots for cool kids, while the Butterflies Lounge and Taj Mahal provide the place for performances. Get ready for a vacation you’ll not only remember, but proudly recount for years to come.

Lock in your group rate booking today and receive special attention to your needs and free amenities once on board to further enjoy your time away. I am looking forward to meeting you and sending you off on an awesome vacation.

Crystal Cruises announces new Game of Thrones Excursion

Fans of the hit HBO series Game of Thrones are invited to join this half-day outing, focusing on the castle-estate filming locations of the dark, moody, and altogether enthralling show, which is shot not only in a Belfast studio but also in Ireland’s famously atmospheric countryside.

4 hours

Price: $289

New for 2014

Your excursion opens as you board your motor coach and travel to Castle Ward, an 18th-century National Trust estate beautifully located on the shores of Strangford Lough.

During your visit, you will see why Castle Ward is an ideal shooting location for Game of Thrones. Described by show creator David Benioff as ”The Sopranos in Middle-earth,” HBO’s fantasy drama mixes history with surrealism, using Ireland’s picturesque and sometimes dark settings to great effect.

Find yourself tucked into the space between reality and fantasy as you visit the estate, one of the most complete demesne landscapes to survive in Ireland. The grand residence showcases both Gothic and Classical styles, with one façade built in a Palladian style and the opposite side featuring Georgian Gothic characteristics with pointed windows, battlements and finials.

Further immerse yourself into days of old with a chance to try the medieval sport of archery. Then view a film revealing the special effects used to transform Castle Ward into the land of Winterfell.

Afterward, board a minivan for the brief transfer to Audley’s Castle, a 15th-century tower house named after its 16th-century owner, John Audley. Part of the Castle Ward estate, Audley’s Castle evokes a feeling of history, with its sturdy stone construction, austere square turrets and magical location on the lough.

Become acquainted with the castle’s role in Game of Thrones and play a game yourself as you test your knowledge by matching actual sites to scenes from the show.

Unfortunately, credits are about to role on your Game of Thrones excursion. Enjoy a photo opportunity with the some of the show’s elaborate costumes before the joining your motor coach for the one-hour return to the pier and your Crystal ship.

Important Notes:

As this excursion requires extensive walking, guests should be reasonably active and physically fit to participate. It is recommended that guests dress in warm, layered clothing and wear flat, comfortable, nonslip shoes. Guests should also bring raingear in case of inclement weather. The order of sights visited may vary.

Availability: Extremely limited

Enter the Game of Thrones is available on these voyages:

  • V4220 «Emerald Isle Immersion» starts 8/24/2014 on Crystal Symphony
